Whether you are looking for therapy to help you through a current crisis such as a bereavement, loss or relationship breakdown or an ongoing issue such as anxiety, trauma or low self esteem; having a safe and confidential space to explore your thoughts and feelings can help.
Counselling can help us come to terms with many problems we are faced with, helping us see things more clearly and gain a greater understanding of ourselves. We are all unique and each counselling relationship reflects this. I will work alongside you and at your own pace, helping you to reflect on your experiences and relationships to find meaning and clarity.
In a counselling session you are free to talk about whatever is on your mind, to be listened to without judgement. Counselling is not about fixing your problems or telling you what to do. Instead, I will encourage you to talk about what's troubling you, working with you to explore what matters and helping you to see things more clearly.
Perhaps you feel stuck and unable to move forward or feel uncertain about your future. With help you can progress and find different ways to manage and cope with your problems; making sense of the past, finding ways to cope in the present and thinking of changes you might like to make in your future.
